Just this past week I completed sound work on a short lightsaber duel for the Shot on Red Film Festival. Easy you say. But try only being allowed to use original sounds. So here is what can be expected soon: I will upload those sound effects used in the film for the “lightsabers” or laser swords!
They were meant to be similar to the originals so you will notice they sound similar but are completely original. Crashes, razors, jacket zippers and car whooshes made the clashing and zooming sounds while being heavily doctored with tightly delayed tone and a nice ring modulator.
