As you know, the Maxwell Sound Services Sound Library is launching soon. Here is what I got so far. There will be a complete Sound Library with high quality sound effects available for download. My mission is to provide the highest quality sound effects to the world at lower prices than everyone else. My plan is to upload the sound effects in their native .wav 24bit 96khz. They will be unaltered so you can have as much flexibility on the manipulation of them as possible. I have decided that in order to have full compatibility with .wav 24bit 96khz, I suggest downloading the software-based DAW called REAPER, made by Cockos. I will accomplish this Library using a simple plugin. The page will be called “Library” and will be a link in the menu bar at the top of the site. You may see the reserved space already, however it is under construction. With this new library launching, I will also make a few changes to the look of the site. I want it to look a little more attractive than what it is now.
There is no real set date as to when the library will be available but I can say that it should be up within the month of October. (Maybe a Halloween launch).
You must be a member to download sound effects. You can choose a free account, which will allow you to download sound effects for $1 each OR you can choose the premium account which allows an unlimited number of downloads for a flat fee per month. The fee has yet to be determined however I will say that for those of you who need sounds and make tons of videos, it will be more economical to have a premium account.
